Agapanthus ‘Bridal Bouquet’ is an African Lily and a semi-evergreen perennial shrub that bursts to life through summer into autumn, with trumpet-shaped white flowers that open from cream buds.
The superb flowers emerge from green, low-lying foliage with strap-like leaves that stretch upwards in a tall and strong nature.

You will often get more flowers when the roots are restricted, so will do particularly well in pots.
Care Information
- Plant in well-drained soil in a position of full sun.
- Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser monthly from spring until flowering, then, from the end of September reduce watering and feeding to allow the foliage to harden.
- Deadhead flowers to encourage new growth.
- Prune as needed to maintain size and shape.
- In colder areas, cover the crown of the plant with a deep, dry mulch to protect the plants from hard frosts, or grow in a pot so they can overwinter in an unheated greenhouse.
- Leaves may be lost in winter, yet new growth will appear in the spring.
- Once established, the plant doesn’t require much water as it is drought tolerant.
