Product Information
Conifers are a great ultra-low maintenance solution for smaller gardens, rockeries or gravel beds and these dwarf varieties mean that anyone can grow them, no matter the size of garden.
This complimentary mix of varieties provide year-round colour. Easy to grow, you can even plant up in pots as evergreen features to bring your patio to life at any time of year, or place in the ground to fill up those pesky gaps.
All are dwarf varieties, so only require infrequent trimming to shape every few years. Best of all, they are very hardy so you do not need to worry about them in the winter – just plant and grow!
Supplied as a set of three established conifer shrubs in 9cm pots, ready to plant out all year round. Including one each of the following:
- Juniperus Blue Carpet – Bright bluey grey foliage grows in needle-like formations. Proud holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit. H10cm x W150cm
- Juniperus Green Carpet – A neat and dense conifer with bright green, needle foliage. Proud holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit. H10cm x W100cm
- Thuja Golden Globe – Also known as a White Cedar, this shrub produces dense, yellowy green foliage in a rounded, globe-like shape. H50cm x W40cm

Top Tips
Newly planted conifers need regular watering to prevent browning - once established they are drought proof.
Remove weeds as soon as they appear and mulch well to reduce water loss.
Care Information
Planting Advice for Your Collection:
- Water your potted plant well.
- Dig a hole a little deeper and 3 x wider than the nursery pot.
- Add a soil conditioner such as well-rotted manure to the earth removed from the hole if necessary.
- Remove the plant from its pot and tease out a few of the roots.
- Sprinkle on some Root grow to help establish a sound root system.
- Place your plant in the hole at the same level at the pot.
- Refill the hole with the earth removed (backfilling).
- Firm in the soil with your heel, avoiding the root ball.
- Water well and mulch around the base of the plant with a collar, compost, gravel, bark etc.
Pruning:
- No pruning is required although you can clip to retain height from spring to late summer, just avoid cutting into old wood.
- If your plant gets too tall for where you have planted it, clip the top to keep it at the required height.
