Nothing beats the iconic Ilex aquifolium, the common English Holly, a native tree with which we have developed a rich history, not is part due to it evergreen nature and bright berries. It's no coincidence that the traditional festive colours of green and red just so happen to be the very two colours that this hardy tree are decked with over the coldest and dullest months of the year.
