There really is something special and iconic about English Shrub Roses, and these wonderful new roses have been expertly bred using the latest techniques to give you summer long displays, superb fragrance – and simply brilliant garden performance!
These cottage-garden classics feature the traditional blousy blooms associated with old-fashioned roses - goblet-shaped and filled with petals.
New breeding over many years has made them much easier to grow in all gardens - big or small - either in larger pots or in borders and beds and these varieties has been bred to have both a good fragrance, and yet are disease resistant - not always possible with roses!
Best of all, they’ll repeat flower all summer, blooming for 4-5 Months with little dead-heading, although you may wish to keep them tidy.
They’re a little more vigorous and less formal than Hybrid Tea Roses, so mix them in with other shrubs and perennials in borders too for the complete cottage garden!
