These large plants are on average, a year old. Grown from seed or from cuttings, these plants have been carefully nurtured to a size which will give immediate impact in your garden. These plants are sold as singles. Each plant is dropped into a clear sleeve, securely clamped into a cardboard insert which is then placed into one of our large, branded boxes.

Our large plug plants are on average, 10cm in height with a 4cm root ball. These plants have been cold grown from seed or from cuttings, for a number of months and have been hardened off ready to be planted straight out into the garden. Annuals bought as large plugs will be full sized within a few months of planting out. Most perennial plants will be fully established in your garden within a year. Large plug plants are sold in 5s or 10s.

Our medium plug plants are on average, 6cm in height with a 2.5cm root ball. These plants have been grown from seed or from cuttings, for a number of weeks and have fully established root systems. These plants will need to be grown on in a green house for a few more weeks in order to harden off a little, before being planted out into your garden. Medium plug plants are usually sold in trays of at least 50 plants.
