Delivery Details

  • We offer free UK Mainland delivery for all orders over £50. For orders under £50, the delivery charge is a flat rate of £3.99 per order regardless of the size of your order.

  • For plants and sundries, delivery will be via Royal Mail, sent first class post or by courier (Hermes) depending on the size of the package. We pick you order fresh from the nursery and only when we are totally happy that the plants pass our strict quality control procedures.
  • In the case of furniture and machinery this will be also be delivered by a courier service.
  • Flower bouquets are delivered by a local florist on a next day delivery only, excluding Sunday. Orders need to be placed by 4pm for next day delivery and we can send bouquets and house plants to UK and Channel Islands addresses only.
  • Live plant orders are dispatched between Monday and Friday every week to ensure that your plants arrive before the weekend and in tip top condition. We vary which of these days we dispatch on as we must carefully manage the strain placed upon the nursery staff as they are a delicate lot! If you would like to get same week delivery then please call the office on 01534 857160 and we will tell you when we plan to dispatch.
  • Availability windows for plants vary. These windows have been calculated as the optimum timeframe for the receipt of these products. Please note that it is possible to purchase plants that will not be dispatched for many months so please check the availability windows carefully!
  • Blooming Direct cannot dispatch to PO Box numbers. Please provide a valid address and post code to ensure the Royal Mail gets its end of the job done. Blooming Direct does however ship to ALL UK postcodes unlike some other retailers.
  • Multiple orders may not all be dispatched at the same time. Each order line will be packed and dispatched individually.
  • Our plants are carefully packed in a blister pack and then placed in a strong cardboard box for posting to you.
  • Garden furniture and machinery will be delivered directly by the manufacturer using their own courier services.
  • We are able to offer non UK delivery for some products, please call us or email for more information and delivery charges.
